Silk Blouse
Inspired by the recycled textile events throughout New York Textile Month, I thought about how many pieces of fiber I already own. Why not repurpose the material instead of throwing it away?
Cut and Spin
Cutting up the blouse and spinning it down into thread.
Spinning the Blouse
I used a Schacht 4" Hi-Low Drop Spindle to spin down my blouse into yarn.
